I've gone there a few times to pick up Asian food items. Went in a little after 2 PM, Jan 17th. The young man at the counter was impolite and altogether uncommunicative. Stared at me rather than greeting me or even saying anything along the lines of "How can I help you?" or "What'll it be?" I made the mistake of also ordering some sushi, which I'd wanted to try since colleagues/friends said it was decent. I sat and waited, nobody told me how long it might be... Got the sushi home, took one bite, and could tell instantaneously that the tuna was not fresh. Rotten in fact. And the texture was all wrong. I spat it out immediately and the rest went in the garbage. They also didn't even bother to cut the 12-piece sushi roll into 12 pieces. Also discovered that the Thai peanut sauce I purchased expired August 2017. Would like to get a refund but who knows how that might play out since the young man with zero customer service skills never offered me any sort of receipt. This place lost my business for good. Utter garbage.

A nice little combination of Asian grocery with attached cafe style restaurant. The grocery area has a limited, but decent for its size selection including a good assortment of beverages. The restaurant section makes good food, with a distinct leaning towards Korean and Japanese dishes. For a lunch visit I would suggest looking at the $5 bowl offers (especially the curry chicken), as they are tasty, filling, and certainly worth their price.

I always enjoy Kim's food. It is a staple in my Oberlin diet, especially because a meal can be $5
